VA’s Veterans Transportation Program (VTP) offers Veterans many travel solutions to and from their VA health care facilities. This program offers these services at little or no costs to eligible Veterans through the following services:

• Beneficiary Travel (BT)

• Veterans Transportation Service (VTS)

• Highly Rural Transportation Grants (HRTG)

HOMH is a registered 501(c)(3), non-profit organization dedicated to providing fully equipped, adaptive minivans to our country’s most severely wounded, injured, and ill service members who sustained their injuries while on active duty.

DAV Departments and Chapters, along with our long-time partner Ford Motor Company, have purchased 3,678 vehicles at a cost of more than $84 million, that have been donated to Department of Veterans Affairs medical centers nationwide since the program began in 1987 to ensure that injured or ill veterans are able to get to their medical appointments.
