LEADERSHIP
Jamie Gaudet (Ret.)
Ambassador
Jamie is one of the founding board members of JFVA as well as a member of the Joint Forces Hockey Organization which entered its inaugural season in 2017. He served in the US Army/US ARNG for a period of 28 years as an Infantryman, Administration Specialist, Supply NCO, Water Purification Specialist and Production Recruiter/Career Counselor for various units in his home state of Massachusetts and Colorado. He retired in 2010 with 23 years of active duty service which also included 10 years of service to the Honor Guard program. Jamie not only performed Military Funeral Honors ceremonies, but his forte was singing the National Anthem at many high-profile military and civilian events and venues to include: Fenway Park (Boston, MA), Mile High Stadium (Denver, CO) and Coors Field (Denver, CO) to name a few. Jamie’s formal music training began after high school when he attended the Boston Conservatory and Berklee College of Music in Boston Massachusetts while he performed locally during that time period.
Since his retirement from the military, Jamie has gone on to assume the duties of State Coordinator for the Military Funeral Honors (MFH) program for the Colorado Army National Guard as a private contractor. This post-retirement assignment is so very well suited for Jamie due to his extensive ability and experience in this field having spent the better part of 10 years in the MFH program prior to his retirement. Jamie’s passions are his God, his Family (including 4 Children & 9 Grand-Children), his fellow veterans of the Joint Forces Hockey Organization, his participation in the Colorado Over 50 Baseball League and his on-going passion for music, primarily singing and song writing.
